Pelican Narrows Man Charged With Murder

RCMP say a man from Pelican Narrows is facing a second degree murder charge in connection to a homicide in the community last week.

Cpl. Brian Jones says the 32-year-old man is charged with the murder of a 22-year-old woman, which took place in the community on Thursday.

Jones says the man turned himself into police shortly after the discovery of the woman’s body in a home in the community.

He adds the names of the victim and accused will be released following the suspect’s first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court tomorrow.
