Pedestrian Hit In North Battleford

A 65-year-old man is recovering in hospital in Saskatoon after being struck by a van in North Battleford Tuesday.

 

 

RCMP say the accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m.

 

 

The driver of the van, a 44-year-old man, was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian and driving with an invalid licence.

 

 

The pedestrian suffered a head injury and was rushed to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. His condition is unknown at this point.
