Some members of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation aren’t happy they had to drive to Creighton to take part in advance polls for Wednesday’s provincial election.

Advance polling for the Cumberland constituency took place late last week and early this week in La Ronge, Wollaston Lake, Cumberland House and Creighton.

The returning officer for the Cumberland riding, Cec Williams, says the decision on where advance polls are held is made in Regina.

Williams admits it would have been nice to see easier access to advance polls for voters in the constituency.
