Pageant Winner To Help Crown Pow Wow Princess

Miss Indian World 2009 will be a guest judge in the crowning of the 2009-2010 FSIN Pow Wow Princess.

Brooke Grant is participating in the the federation’s Pow Wow “Spirit of Our Nations”, being held this weekend in Saskatoon.

Grant says that contestants should be aware of their impact on younger girls.

“The most important thing is the ability to carry one’s self in an appropriate manner. A lot of times, you’ll find that young girls really don’t understand the impact that they can have on even younger girls, or boys for that matter,” she says.

Grant says that contestants must also be eloquent and mature, and speak effectively.

The pageant winner will be crowned on Saturday.
