The Prince Albert Grand Council has signed a memorandum of understanding with the city’s regional health authority.

Yesterday, the Prince Albert/Parkland Health Region and the PAGC agreed to plan new ways of delivering service to band members living within the authority’s jurisdiction.

PAGC health director Ernie Sauve says First Nations near the city will be approached for their ideas on how better service can take place.

Sauve says both sides will study existing arrangements on northern reserves where services like renal dialysis are offered.

He adds the idea of mobile treatment will be examined, as well.
