A bail hearing is going on today for a 16 year-old youth accused of killing a 19 year-old man from Prince Albert.

The youth who cannot be named, sat quietly this morning, with his arms crossed and head down while lawyers argued his case.

He faces one count of Second-Degree Murder in relation to the death of Dean Josie.

The 19 year-old man was found bleeding heavily at Prime Minister’s park during the early morning hours of September 22nd. Efforts to revive him failed.

Three other teenagers also face charges of assault in connection to the incident.

None of the evidence heard today can be reported due to a publication ban.
