PA Official Says Fuel Prices Are About To Soar

You may want to think about filling up your gas-tank.

Various media reports indicate Hurricane Rita may cause a rise in the cost at the pumps throughout North America.

Nicole Bertrand is the Chief Executive Officer for the Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce. She says fuel prices stand to go up as a result of the storm.

Bertrand adds the days of cheap energy are probably over and Saskatchewan will have to consider new ways of powering the province.

She says the vast stockpiles of Uranium in Northern Saskatchewan are definite assets and nuclear energy should be considered very carefully.
