Orchard Upset Over Beatty Nomination News

A man running for the Liberal nomination in the riding of Desnethe-Missinipi Churchill Rivers says he can’t believe the news that Stephane Dion is thinking of appointing Joan Beatty to the position.
David Orchard, who was a key figure in Dion’s national leadership campaign, says he’s shocked to hear a nomination race might not even happen.
He says it’s simply not fair and reeks of elitism.
Orchard says things may change if enough people get upset about the situation.
He says he has not talked to Dion for some time.
