Orchard Responds To Attack From Fellow Liberal

One of the candidates for the Liberal nomination in Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River is speaking out about recent criticism made against him.

David Orchard admits he doesn’t speak Cree, a point made recently by rival John Dorion.

However, Orchard says he speaks the language of fair play, and doesn’t want to get bogged down in issues of race or culture.

Orchard also says he hasn’t heard any criticism from constituents about the fact he doesn’t originally hail from northern Saskatchewan.

He owns a farm in the Choiceland district, where he is basing his nomination from.
