Onion Lake Woman Identified As Hotel Murder Victim

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in the investigation into the death of an Aboriginal woman found dead in a Lloydminster hotel room over the weekend.

 

Hotel cleaning staff found the body of 20-year-old Onion Lake First Nation resident Jarita Brittany Naistus just before noon Sunday morning.

 

Investigators are treating the case as a homicide and are now trying to trace the last movements of Naistus prior to her death.
