Onion Lake Crash Sends 8 People to Hospital

The RCMP is investigating a 3-vehicle collision near Onion Lake early Sunday morning.
The Mounties say they were conducting a checkstop for impaired drivers on Highway 17 at about 3:30 Sunday morning when an oncoming vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with two of the vehicles in the checkstop.
Eight people from Onion Lake received injuries in the mishap and were treated at hospital.
