Oilsands Quest Steps Up Work Near La Loche

An Alberta-based energy company has announced plans to begin field tests at its exploration site in northwest Saskatchewan.

Oilsands Quest has been looking for oil north of La Loche for the past few years.

The move is intended to evaluate the site’s reservoir response.

If the company receives regulatory approval, the tests could be conducted in the first half of 2008.
