Ocean Man Set To Webcast Band Meetings

Members of the Ocean Man First Nation will soon be able to watch their band council meetings live over the Internet.

In September, Ocean Man will launch their own webcast exclusively on their website.

Chief Gloria Shepherd says this new tool will help them better communicate with their members, especially those off-reserve.

She sasy band members will be able to access the feature at www.oceanmanband.com and watch from anywhere in the world.

The first webcast will take place during the next band meeting in September.
