November Trial Date Set for Murder Suspect

A trial date has been set for a woman accused of killing a Sandy Bay resident last year.

 

43-year-old Elaine Bird will be tried by judge and jury at Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench from November 1st to the 12th.

 

Bird faces one charge of second-degree murder for her alleged role in an incident which claimed the life of Zachary Daniels.

 

The 27-year-old man was found dead of stab wounds in a West Flat residence on April 12th of last year.
