A project designed to expose youth to leaders in industry and government is wrapping up today in La Ronge.

The Lieutenant Governor’s Leadership Forum has seen 17 students rub shoulders with prominent citizens over the last 11 days and learn some of their leadership skills.

Half of the students are from the North, including 5 from the La Ronge and Stanley Mission areas.

Lt. Gov. Gordon Barnhardt says the change in the youth has been remarkable, and he fully expects to see them become prominent citizens within the next five years.

The youth have also attended sessions Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw.
