Northern Woman Killed In Highway Accident

A 34-year-old woman from Canoe Narrows was killed in a highway accident in northwest Saskatchewan yesterday.

 

Verna Iron was a passenger in a vehicle that lost control and crashed on Highway 55, about 12 kilometres west of Peerless.

 

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The RCMP says the 41-year-old male driver and three other passengers, including two boys under the age of 12, were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

 

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

 

The investigation continues.
