Northern Roads Strategy On The Way

Creating a northern roads strategy is one of the tasks that’s been given to Saskatchewan’s new highways minister.

On Friday, Prince Albert Northcote MLA Eldon Lautermilch was added to Premier Lorne Calvert’s cabinet.

Calvert says he’s also asked Lautermilch to focus on key transportation initiatives that assist in economic expansion and development.

Lautermilch will continue to serve as chair of the task force examining the future of the Weyerhaeuser Pulp and Paper Mill in Prince Albert.
