Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill Member of Parliament Jeremy Harrison is throwing his campaign into full swing.

At the same time, he’s assuring Aboriginal residential school survivors the Conservatives are committed to keeping the terms of an agreement signed last week if the Tories form the next government.

Harrison says one of his main objectives is seeing residential school survivors compensated within the first year of a Conservative mandate.

Harrison adds that other pre-existing commitments announced by the Liberals — such as the Primrose Lake Air Weapons Range settlement — will be fulfilled if the Conservatives win the election.

Harrison is also pledging his continued support for Aboriginal war veterans.
