Northern Leaders Meeting Held In La Ronge

A number of northern leaders will sit down today with five Government Ministers to discuss issues impacting northern Saskatchewan.

The meeting is taking place at the Jonas Roberts Community Centre and runs until 3:30 this afternoon.

Topics up for discussion include runway lighting for northern airports, youth crime, northern revenue sharing and income support.

Northern Affairs Minister Buckley Belanger is joined by fellow colleagues, Joan Beatty, David Forbes, Len Taylor and Frank Quennell.
