New North Chair Hopes To Meet With New Premier

The chair of New North says she’s looking forward to educating Saskatchewan’s new government on northern issues.

Ina Fietz-Ray is congratulating Premier-designate Brad Wall and the Saskatchewan Party on their recent win over the NDP in the provincial election.

She hopes the new government will look to strike deals with northerners wherever possible, as well as listen to their feedback on the use of natural resources.

She also hopes to meet with Wall before the year is out.

Fietz-Ray says the Saskatchewan Party’s pledge to grow the economy and the province caught her ear during the campaign.
