Native Protester Sounds Off On Same Sex Bill

An Aboriginal man who originally hails from Buffalo Narrows is protesting same sex marriage today.

Norman McCallum feels the Liberal government is forcing Aboriginal people to accept something that goes against their traditional beliefs.

He says he is particularly incensed by the government’s failure to consult First Nations or Metis people before taking the bill to Parliament.

McCallum is holding a public demonstration today in Saskatoon to make his point.
