Native-Owned Firm Named Business of the Year

The province’s first Aboriginal-owned oil well drilling company has been named the Saskatchewan Business of the Year.

Carlyle-based Eagle Drilling Services was given the honour at the Achievement in Business Excellence awards ceremony in Regina over the weekend.

The company was also handed the ABEX award for best new venture.

Eagle Drilling Services began operating less than two years ago.
