An Aboriginal man who has played a big part in the annual “Voices of the North” Aboriginal talent showcase over the years was reportedly involved in a serious accident over the weekend.

Reliable sources say Doyle Ironstand was in one of two vehicles that collided head-on at around 12:50 Sunday morning on Highway 2, seven kilometres south of Prince Albert.

Ironstand was transferred to Royal University Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Two other people were taken to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. At last word, they were listed in good condition, and were expected to be released.
