Native Law Expert To Hold Lecture In Saskatoon

The man generally regarded as Canada’s leading indigenous law scholar is visiting Saskatoon over the next couple of days.

 

During his visit, John Borrows will hold several meetings with elders, faculty at the University of Saskatchewan, university students and school students to discuss his ideas on treaty rights.

 

The U of S has also invited the internationally-renowned lawyer and professor to hold a free public lecture tonight.

 

The talk is entitled, “Creating Canada: Constructing an Indigenous Country”.

 

It will begin at 7:00 this evening at the Delta Bessborough hotel.
