Members of an Aboriginal over-40 hockey team from Winnipeg were involved in a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway last night on their way home from a Native hockey tournament in Regina.

The RCMP say a few players were on their way home from the Oskana Cup when their van collided with a semi-trailer at Indian Head.

The Mounties say the van moved into an adjacent lane on the divided highway, and struck a semi going in the same direction.

All seven people in the van were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and all were released as of this afternoon.

The RCMP say the driver of the van was a 30-year-old woman from Winnipeg.

Spokesman Sgt. Brad Kaeding says charges will not be laid.
