Native Artists Needed For Arts Directory

A search is underway for Aboriginal artists in Prince Albert who wish to help schoolchildren unlock their artistic talents.

Members of the Common Weal Community Arts Organization are compiling a directory of local painters, actors, musicians and other artists for school use.

Project coordinator Judy McNaughton says anyone is eligible to be in the book, but it is intended for serious artists only.

She says work on the directory will happen until the end of June, then it will be published.
