A nationwide search is underway for someone to help boost and promote Aboriginal music across Canada.
The job is being offered by the National Association of College Radio Stations, and would require the successful candidate to visit many different First Nations communities and music halls.
Campaign organizer Freya Zultz says her group hopes to find someone who has their ear to the ground in the Aboriginal music scene, and who has no problem dealing with many different bands and communities.
Zultz says the successful candidate would also be required to select a handful of artists across Canada to be on a special CD compilation in the coming years.
