Murder Suspect To Stand Trial

A trial has been ordered for a 20-year-old man accused of murder on the James Smith Cree Nation.

Approximately one year ago, Leland Moostoos was arrested after a man died suddenly on the reserve.

Police say Ralph Burns succumbed to stabbing injuries on January 22nd, 2005.

Moostoos faces one count of second-degree murder.

No date has been set for his trial.
