Murder Suspect Due Back In Court In August

A preliminary hearing has been set for a woman charged in the death of a northerner.

 

34-year-old Audrey Bignose will plead her case before a Prince Albert judge for three days beginning August 31st.

 

The Nipawin resident faces a charge of second degree murder.

 

On January 8th, police discovered the body of 46-year-old Alice Ballantyne in a condemned apartment complex.

 

Police says the former Deschambault Lake resident was found on a deserted floor of the building.

 

The cause of death has not been released.
