A provincial court judge has determined enough evidence exists to send a Pelican Narrows woman to trial for murder.

27-year-old Geraldine Bloomfield was charged with the second degree murder of her common-law husband back in April of this year.

Reports at the time stated 32 year-old Cameron Ballantyne died as a result of stab wounds he had suffered on the reserve.

A preliminary hearing for that case took place earlier this week in Pelican Narrows.

No date has been given for the trial.
