MP Says Gun Registry On The Way Out

The Member of Parliament for northern Saskatchewan says he’s optimistic the federal gun registry will soon be scrapped.

Rob Clarke says the opposition Liberals are doing their best to oppose the bill which is currently before the Senate.

But he says all they need is one more Conservative senator to be appointed, and it could turn the tide.

Clarke says he has received hundreds of e-mails from northern constituents who don’t support the registry.
