A Saskatchewan filmmaker is looking to highlight the “starlight tours” in a film set to be released this weekend.

“Out in the Cold” is a film about an Aboriginal man driven outside of city limits by police in the winter and left to make his own way back to the community.

Regina film producer Sarah Abbott says that the film is not a documentary, but an attempt to get talks going about the different perspectives people have on this issue.

She believes that they have created something that will really get people talking.

The film will air this Saturday at 7:00 p.m at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina, and again two nights later at the Roxy in Saskatoon, starting at 7:00 p.m.
