Mounties Lay Charges In Mysterious Weyakwin Death

A 25 year-old Weyakwin man has been charged with causing a fatal hit-and-run accident last summer.

Delvin Nicholas Ross was arrested yesterday and charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and hit and run.

It was last August that police discovered the body of 39 year-old Brian Wesley Lavallee on a beach at Weyakwin Lake.

Authorities arrested a man in connection with the case but then released him.

Ross’s next court appearance is set for next week in Montreal Lake.
