Mounties Identify Body Found Near La Ronge

The RCMP have released the name of a dead teenager found near La Ronge yesterday over the lunch hour.

Sgt. Brad Kaeding says the body was that of Trent Samson Roberts, a 14-year-old local resident.

He adds, at this point, the death is considered sudden — but not suspicious in nature.

Kaeding says they hope to learn more through an autopsy already underway in Prince Albert.

Roberts’ body was discovered in a ditch by a passerby walking near Highway 102 on the Fairchild reserve.
