In the wake of a very important meeting with the association that represents Canada’s universities, the troubled First Nations University of Canada is dealing with two more resignations.

FNUC Student Success co-ordinator Sherri Swidrovich and student ambassador Jenny Gardipy have decided to step down from their positions, citing the recent controversy as the reason for their departure.

Yesterday, FNU officials met with Claire Morris — the head of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada — to discuss the constant turmoil which seems to have been plaguing the institution since February.

There is little information about what was discussed at yesterday’s meeting.

The university has dealt with a number of suspensions, firings, and resignations of high-ranking officials in recent months and has also battled allegations of political interference, money mismanagement and violations of academic privacy.
