Three more people have been charged in connection to last year’s controversial Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election, and it sounds like more charges are coming.
The RCMP say two women from North Battleford are facing charges of forgery, while a man from Maple Creek has been charged with obstruction of justice.
Their names won’t be released until they make their first court appearances.
The male suspect will appear in Maple Creek Provincial Court on September 8th.
The female suspects will be making their court appearances in North Battleford on October 5th.
MNS area director Henry Cummings was charged with forgery in June.
The RCMP’s Commercial Crime Section is continuing the investigation and says further charges will be laid.
