The man currently recognized as president of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan says he’s not sure what the MNS will do if the province doesn’t restore its funding.

Dwayne Roth says he can’t believe a recently-announced government probe into the organization’s spring election, will actually take until October to complete.

Roth says the government is acting in an unreasonable manner and he won’t cave in to their demands.

The province has told the MNS it would like to observe a series of upcoming election appeals in Prince Albert.

Roth has stated he doesn’t know if that will happen saying it is up to the elections commission to make the call.
