The president of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan says he’s tired of seeing fellow candidates rushing to the media to tell their story.

Dwayne Roth says the senators that make up the Metis Elections Commission are there for a reason, and he believes unsubstantiated allegations are flying around uncontrolled.

Roth adds some candidates have also accused him of trying to influence the MNS senate — something he flatly denies.

Roth has been attending the Metis election appeal hearings in Prince Albert all week.
