A judge has set a new court date for a North Battleford woman implicated in the 2004 Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election scandal.

40-year-old Rebecca Vermette will appear in court next Thursday, at which time she will elect to be tried by judge or jury.

She is one of nine people who were charged for alleged wrongdoing during the vote.

One of them, Vince Buglar, pleaded guilty to a charge of forgery last week.
