MNS Continues to Deny Province Observer Status

The Saskatchewan government is once again expressing its disappointment at not being allowed inside this week’s MNS election appeal hearings.

Aboriginal Affairs policy director John Reid says he wants to make it clear the government has no interest in deciding the outcome of the appeals — it only wants to make sure everyone’s concerns are brought to light.

It was just last month the government hired the former electoralofficer for the province, Keith Lampard, to examine this spring’s vote.

Some of the candidates at this week’s hearings confirm he has already visited various communities asking questions.
