MNS Begins Community Consultations

The Metis Nation – Saskatchewan wants to hear from its citizens during the next month and a half.

 

For the rest of March and part of April, the MNS will be holding community consultations in each region.

 

The MNS plans to provide updates on a variety of topics and also wants feedback from people.

 

the topics include the draft duty to consult provincial framework, harvesting, the citizenship registry process, and the development of a Metis appeals process.

 

The next consultation will be tomorrow in Yorkton.

 

Anyone wondering when the consultation is taking place in their region should contact their regional director or the MNS office.
