MLA Says Health Regions Need More H1N1 Help

The provincial opposition continues to voice its displeasure with the government over its handling of the H1N1 file.
Athabasca MLA Buckley Belanger says not enough resources have been given to local health authorities to prepare for the second wave for the flu pandemic.
He points to the website of the Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority as one example.
Belanger says anyone surfing it for local details about the H1N1 flu clinics is re-directed to the provincial health website, where there is little information about how communities are to prepare for getting shots.
Belanger stresses he’s not criticizing the health authorities themselves — rather, he wants the province to give them more resources.
