Mistawasis To Hold Court

The province has announced the sitting of a new court at Mistawasis.
On the fourth Tuesday of each month Justice of the Peace Lorraine Pechawis will preside over matters on the reserve.
The court sitting will be a court of record with only minor matters being addressed.
The court will dispose of cases by way of guilty plea or adjourn the matter to trial, while Trials themselves will not be heard.
The first sitting is set for January 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Mistawasis Family Centre.
