Missing Montreal Lake Man Found in Jail

There’s been a bizarre ending to the search for a missing Montreal Lake man.

RCMP and search organizers have confirmed that 30-year-old Calvin Wayne Bird has been located in an Edmonton prison.

It remains unclear as to when or why Bird ended up behind bars.

Bird was last seen on the 18th of June in the Montreal Lake area.

Last week, a massive ground search by local police and volunteers was organized in an effort to locate him.

Family spokesman Dean Bird says the family is grateful to everybody that helped in the search.
