Metis Youth Honoured As Role Models

Several Metis youth were recognized at a Metis Youth Role Model banquet in Saskatoon over the weekend.

 

Saturday’s awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the 9th Annual National Metis Youth Conference.

 

Chelsea Lavallee and Dalton Mathias won the Young Metis Leaders award.

 

Dylan Gaudry was singled out for Volunteer Services.

 

The Career Advancement award went to Danielle Levesque.

 

Angela Beam took home the Academic Achievement award.

 

Metis Culture and Heritage honours went to Ginny Gonneau.

 

Kelvin Desjarlais was named the winner of the Harry Daniels Award for Personal Achievement.

 

The award for Athletic Achievement went to Dallas Fiddler-Boyer.

 

And the Gabriel Dumont Award for Valour was presented to Marc Telosky.
