Metis Wagon Trek Earning Rave Reviews

Five Metis wagons and a Red River horse cart continue their trek across Saskatchewan this week.
Just over 50 Metis leaders, elders and youth are taking part in the journey, which was designed to give them a glimpse into how their ancestors once travelled across the land.
Event organizer Terry Boyer says the generosity shown to the travellers by other Metis citizens has been overwhelming.
He adds the 20 youth on board the journey have told him repeatedly how happy they are to take part in the experience.
The riders left Batoche approximately two weeks ago, and arrived in Frenchman Butte last night.
The riders are scheduled to reach their final destination, Onion Lake, by next week.
