Two Saskatchewan Metis high school students are among seven Aboriginal recipients nationwide of a prestigious scholarship.

The Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation has announced the winners of its millennium excellence awards.

Tara Desroches of E.D. Feehan High School in Saskatoon is the recipient of a scholarship worth $20,500.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Bozek, who attends Carpenter High in Meadow Lake, is the winner of a $4,500 scholarship.
