Memorial Held For Murdered P.A. Teen

The Prince Albert Indian Metis Friendship Centre held a service this morning to remember the life of a 16-year-old girl who was found deceased in the city earlier this week.

So far, police have released little information about the crime, other than to say it is being treated as a homicide.

The teenager, who hasn’t been identified, was found deceased Monday afternoon near 4th Avenue West and 16th Street.

An autopsy was performed on Wednesday.
