Marchers Remember Stolen Sisters

The annual Missing Sisters Walk to raise awareness about missing Aboriginal women and children is making its way into North Battleford today.
Organizer Pauline Muskego — the mother of Daleen Bosse, who has been missing since May 2004 — says this year’s event has been a success.
She says 11 people are taking turns completing various stages of the walk.
Muskego adds she would deem the walk a success even if only two people took the time to draw attention to missing Aboriginal women and children.
However, Muskego says the hot and dry weather has been hazardous for those on the walk, so donations of ice and water are greatly appreciated.
The walk began in Onion Lake on Monday and will wrap up in Saskatoon on Friday afternoon.
