Prince Albert Grand Council Vice-Chief Ed Henderson says Senator Bird’s passing is a loss not only the North, but the entire country.

Also sending his condolences is FSIN Vice-Chief Lawrence Joseph. Joseph says Bird’s contributions to Frst Nations people are many and he considered him a friend.
